2025 ACC Outdoor Track & Field Championships

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Duke Blue Devils claimed their first-ever ACC Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Championship title, clinching the win with a third-place finish in the 4x400-meter relay. Their 86 total points were enough to edge out North Carolina (82) in one of the most competitive meets in recent history. Duke’s score was the lowest by an ACC champion since Maryland in 1971. The top five teams were:

  1. Duke – 86

  2. North Carolina – 82

  3. California – 79.83

  4. Virginia Tech – 78.33

  5. Florida State – 74

On the women’s side, Virginia earned its first ACC Outdoor title since 1987, scoring 93 points to narrowly beat Louisville by just four points—the tightest women’s margin of victory since 2021.

Individual Highlights:

  • Parker Wolfe (North Carolina) broke both the ACC and meet records in the men’s 5000m (13:13.49). He became the first ACC athlete to win both the 5000m and 10,000m in back-to-back years. Wolfe earned Men’s Track MVP, finishing with 20 points.

  • Shenese Walker (Florida State) took home Women’s Track MVP, also scoring 20 points with wins in both the 100m and 200m.
